Oceanside California is located just north of Carlsbad on the beautiful California coastline. It’s home to roughly 184,000 residents and forms a Tri-City area together with Carlsbad and Vista California. This northernmost city in San Diego County offers a 1000 boat slip harbor, and over 3 ½ miles of pristine white sandy beaches. Our year-round perfect weather means there’s always outdoor entertainment and activities for families, residents, and visitors of all ages.
Enjoy waterfront restaurants and shops, body-boarding and surfing competitions year-round, fishermen events off the Oceanside Pier, whale watching tours, bike riding the San Luis Rey River Trail or Coastal Rail Trail and exploring over 7 miles of adventurous terrain. Downtown San Diego is just about 30 miles south with all of the events and activities such as the San Diego zoo, SeaWorld, and Balboa Park.
The majority of real estate is found west of Interstate 5 along the coastal Highway 101. There are several homes in residential neighborhoods in the hillsides around San Luis Rey, Mira Costa and Vista that range anywhere from about $300,000-$580,000.
Most homeowners are looking for an Oceanside coastal property which is found up and down the coastline in Oceanside. Renaissance Terrace is located in the North with homes ranging from about $350,000 to over 1.5 million for beautiful Oceanside estates. A little farther South in the heart of downtown, homes range from about $500,000-$3 million for Oceanside estates and condominiums offering exquisite views and beach access. There’s a variety of estates and condominiums for sale so finding the right home to meet your budget is fairly simple. A little farther South along Pacific tides homes are a little bit more expensive with the average home being about $900,000. The range is all over the board though so finding what you’re looking for in your price range may be doable but simply a few blocks from the beach.
