Spring Time in San Diego
Spring has Sprung!
Trip Advisor describes Carlsbad Flower Fields, a.k.a. The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch®, as 50 acres of visual splendor and a must see for everyone, tourists and residents alike. I would agree. The fields are awe inspiring—50 acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers, and the majestic beauty of the Pacific Ocean as a backdrop.
The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch® invites everyone, people of all ages, to come and enjoy all of the attractions the ranch has to offer. Let me tell you, the colorful field you see below is nothing short of amazing, but it doesn't stop there. Imagine thousands of petunias, expertly planted on the side of a 300 x 170 foot hill, proudly displaying the flag of the United States of America breathtaking and truly amazing; well worth a photo opp.
Schools from all over are welcomed. Special activities are available for class field trips, as well as every visitor to the ranch. One of the most popular attractions is the Antique Tractor Wagon Ride—a unique way to take in the beauty of Carlsbad Flower Fields. This tractor ride is open to all visitors, all the time...something every visitor should experience!
I live here; my privilege is to witness this springtime event every year, and what a privilege it is.The 50 acres of flowering fields, coupled with many activities for everyone to enjoy, is something I would like to share with all of you. This is just one small piece of San Diego that sets it apart from any other coastal community.
